1. Who is responsible
Tekjur, Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, is responsible for the data described here. Contact: support@tekjur.com.
2. What the game keeps about you
You get an account the first time you open the game. You do not type an email address, a password or a real name.
- Your account: a random player id, your player name with a four-digit tag, a picture (one of the racers, not a photo of you), and your country. The country is taken from where your first request came from, and you can change it. Other players can see your name, tag, picture and country.
- Your age answer: the game asks for your birth month once. We do not keep it. We keep only whether you are under the age limit of your country.
- Your devices: for each phone: an id, the public half of a key the device makes, a model text, and when it was made and last used. The private half of the key stays on your device.
- Signing in with Apple or Google (optional): we keep only the identifier Apple or Google gives us for you, so you can reach the same account on a new phone. We keep no name, no email address and no sign-in token.
- Your progress: coins, racers and looks you own, statistics, challenges and your best times.
- Records and ghosts: your best time on a level, with your name and country, is shown to everyone on the lists. We also keep how your best races were driven, to show them to other players as ghosts.
- Friends and Rivals: your friends and requests, and your Rivals pairs and their races. The other player sees them.
- Levels you make: drafts are yours. A level you publish is public, with its name, and other players' times on it are kept.
- Purchases: if you buy something, we keep a record of the purchase and its receipt from the store. We do not receive your card or payment details.
- Reports and name checks: if you report a name, we keep what you reported. A player name is checked against our list and by a language model run on Cloudflare's service before it is shown.
The game itself does not track you and sets no cookies.
3. Ads
The game shows ads through Google AdMob. These are banners between screens and reward videos that you choose to watch for a reward. AdMob is a service of Google. Google runs the ad code inside the game, and Google decides what it collects.
According to Google's own disclosures for AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK, Google may collect for ads: the advertising identifier of your phone, your IP address, and information about your device and how you use the game. Read more at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and in Google's AdMob data disclosure for Android and for iPhone.
Children and unknown ages
If you are under the age limit of your country, or if you have not answered the age question yet, the game treats you as a child. Then the ads are child-directed and not personalised. The game tells Google you are under the age of consent, and only ads rated for all ages (rating G) are asked for. No consent form is shown.
Everyone else
Ads are asked for with rating PG. In the European Union and the United Kingdom, Google's consent form is shown before the first ad. You can answer there, and you can change your answer later.
What you can do
- Buy No ads, or become a supporter: you then see no banners. Reward videos stay, because you watch them on purpose for a reward.
- Reset or limit the advertising identifier in your phone's settings (on iPhone: tracking settings; on Android: Google settings, Ads).
- Do not watch reward videos.
Reward videos
When you finish a reward video, Google calls our server to confirm that you watched it. That call contains your player id and the kind of reward. We use it only to give you the reward once.
4. Who else is involved
The game runs on Cloudflare (hosting, storage and the name-check model). Google provides the ads. If you sign in with Apple or Google, they handle that sign-in. The app stores handle your purchases.
5. How long we keep it
You can delete your account in the game, under Settings. It is deleted after 30 days, and until then you can change your mind. Then we delete your account, devices, sign-in ids, progress, lists, ghosts, friends, Rivals, drafts and reports. Levels you published stay, without your name as maker. Purchase records stay, without the link to you. More is on Delete my account.
6. Your rights and questions
For any question about your data, write to support@tekjur.com. Because the game does not keep your email address or real name, we may need to ask you for more information to know an account is yours. You can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or to the authority in your own country.
7. Children
You do not need to give a name, email address or birth date to play. The game asks for your birth month once, to know if you are under the age limit of your country. We do not keep the month, only the answer. Under the limit, or without an answer, ads are child-directed (see Ads above).
